Here we all are, safe and sated after our evening meal in Mainz.  The photos are going to be a little delayed as we all have to remember to bring the cards down to dinner !  The day dawned grey and our group of 3 Mogs realised the first few hours of our drive were going to be spent schlepping down the main roads to Koblenz. Boy was it worth it !  The beautiful countryside and pretty villages of the Rhine Valley more than made up for the pain of sharing the tarmac with the heavies. I am reliably informed by The Woodies that I was officially de-flowered at 12.40 on the A76 in Belgium, when my red rose from the evening before extracated itself from the luggage strap !  Didn't feel a thing !  Some of the party took the direct route and some others took the Moselle Valley route. There were plenty of unplanned meet ups en route, but 4 Mogs travelled into Mainz in perfect British fashion: British racing green followed by red, white and then blue. Hartmut from Morgan Club Deutschland provided an excellent tour of Mainz for those who arrived early enough to do it ! Off to Prague tomorrow :)
