Tonight we are in Oradea. The journey started badly with lots of traffic delays, but then went through some lovely countryside; and continued on an almost deserted new motorway.  We then got back to main roads and whilst the lovely buildings and scenery continued, our enemy - the traffic - re-appeared. Driving here is a nightmare.  We try to keep to the speed limits, but the locals don't, so we are never without an HGV up our rear end.  They then overtake and squeeze back into a gap that isn't there. We have decided we need to keep up with local traffic and just pay the speeding fine if we get done as it's far less fraught !!  Tomorrow we leave Romania, cross Hungary and head to Vienna for 2 nights.  The 2 night stops are very welcome as we all unwind a little from the driving.  Don't get me wrong, this is an amazing trip, but safe to say I'll tell you a little more when we get back home about how bad Continental Car Tours are !! However, in the true spirit of Morganeers, we are enjoying ourselves and making the most of every moment :))
